Home Remedies

Years ago I had a boss tell me I was “the salon Nana,” because I seemed to have a home remedy for everything. I love DIY treatments, especially for anyone with sensitivities. I have found these to be just as, and often more, effective than expensive luxury treatments.

These are not meant to be a substitute for medical treatment, some scalp issues need next level care, either from hair gain products, or from a Dermatologist. If you’re unsure what your scalp and hair need, either message me your challenge, or schedule a consultation. I’m here to help.

Safety 1st & How to Patch Test

*When trying new things on your skin, patch test first to make sure you’re not sensitive to it.

Dab a a tiny bit in the fold of your elbow, or just behind your ear. Leave on for 15 minutes, wash off, wait for up to 24 hours, check for reaction.

Just because it’s natural doesn’t mean it’s neutral

**With a few exceptions (like lavender) Essential Oils should not be applied “neat” or straight on the skin. Dilute with a carrier oil, or medium, such as shampoo, conditioner or witch hazel.

To Enhance Hair Color

  • White Tea enhances blondes and red heads
  • Chamomile teas enhance blondes and redheads
  • Hibiscus / Rooibos tea enhance red or light brown hair
  • Black teas enhance brown or black hair

If you want to level up your color refresher tea try adding:
