These two styling tricks are pretty easy, once you get the hang of it. Keep in mind there is always a bit of a learning curve with any new technique. Try to practice a few times, when you don’t have time working against you.
Prepping the hair with a good leave in conditioner helps protect against heat damage.
Followed by a styling cream or gel to help with control and hold.
Let the hair cool before you comb through it. This helps prevent the style from collapsing too soon.
I use a non-aerosol hairspray to hold shape, prevent frizz and fight humidity.
Try not to get discouraged if the first tries are a little wonky. You’ll get it. I have confidence in you!
